place to see The Jeff Beck Group. The lead singer was a guy called
Rod Stewart and the bass player was Ron Wood ( now a Rolling Stone).

This was a WHO show at Merriweather Post
Pavilion
The opening act was a new band that's first album was released on
January 12th 1969.
LED ZEPPELIN Now here it was May 25,
1969 and Zeppelin was 2nd billing on a WHO show. But by Friday July
11th 1969 Zeppelin was Top Billing and closed the show at the Laurel
Pop Festival

We had seen Zeppelin a month before when they
opened the show for the WHO at Merriweather
Post pavilion. There 2nd LP was just coming
out and they were now the Headliners at Laurel Pop

We got home from Atlantic City Pop and a
week later we took off to Woodstock !!
