1 week later we went to the same place to see The Jeff Beck Group. The lead singer was a guy called Rod Stewart and the bass player was Ron Wood ( now a Rolling Stone). Oh - The opening act was Jethro Tull

2nd Time we saw Jimi Hendrix - Baltimore Civic Center

This was a WHO show  Merriweather Post Pavilion
The opening act was a new band that's first album was released on
January 12th 1969. LED ZEPPELIN  Now here it was May 25, 1969 and Zeppelin was 2nd billing on a WHO show. But by Friday July 11th 1969 Zeppelin was Top Billing and closed the show at the Laurel Pop Festival

We had seen Zeppelin a month before when they
opened the show for the WHO at Merriweather
Post pavilion. There 2nd LP was just coming
out and they were now the Headliners at Laurel Pop

King, Lighthouse, Little Richard, Lothar and the Hand People, Hugh Masekela, Buddy Miles Express, Joni Mitchell, Mother Earth, Procol Harum, Santana, Sir Douglas Quintet, Three Dog Night, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention.

We got home from Atlantic City Pop and a week later we took off to Woodstock !!

I went to see DLR not really being a Sammy Haggar fan.
Sammy blew me away - one of the best shows I have ever
seen and as you can see, I have been to a few.
